OOTD September 4, 2012

Today’s outfit of the day isn’t fancy, but I feel remarkably good.

Dress: Roaman’s A Line Crinkle Maxi in Bright Magenta

Worn with Naturalizer Glee Strappy Sandals which I ordered a couple of weeks ago and which match PERFECTLY with the color of this dress.

The necklace is from an artist friend’s shop on Etsy.  This piece is very similar.

Oh, and I got a haircut 🙂

I also brought a pullover sweater with me, but when I put it on and took the picture I wasn’t happy with the way it looked.  It is described as pointelle, but is heavy, plastic-y, and doesn’t let a lot of air though.  And since the sweater is itchy to start with, it might be going to Goodwill. (That’s the best way to not wear something again…)

I am a 40-something professional at a university, who likes to look good, be comfortable AND have time for other things as well. I have an MBA and a PhD in Education Policy, work primarily doing statistical and data analysis on all areas of interest to running a university, and am currently focusing on issues around finance. I am married, with no kids, but two dogs and two cats who cost nearly as much. When I am not working, I enjoy Bikram Yoga, riding my bike (to and from work when the temperature is under 100 degrees), doing cross stitch (the more sarcastic or snarky, the better) and watching way too much TV.
